Christmas Coffee House

Join us for our BG Mane Theatre's first Christmas Coffee House on Friday, December 21st at 7:30 PM. Located in the high school cafeteria enjoy a Christmas-themed variety show with students performaning songs, acting, readings, and improv! Desserts, snack items, coffee, coco, etc will be served. Congratulations to Lisa Contreras

Lisa Contreras recently won the People's Choice Award for the high school category at the Navarro Council of the Arts Outdoor Painters Society of America's PaintOut. In addition to Lisa, Blooming Grove High School was represented by Blooming Grove students Tempest Couch, Dorothy Jimenez, Ethan Nors, and Haidyn Praytor.
Work by artists from the Outdoor Painters Society as well as some student work is for sale. Their work is on display through this Friday, November 30th, at the Warehouse Living Arts Center Theatre and Gallery in Corsicana located at 119 W. 6th Ave.

The Little Mermaid The Musical

Blooming Grove ISD Mane Stage Theatre Company invite you, your family, and friends to come to this year's musical The Little Mermaid. The cast and crew are students from our elementary, junior high and high school campuses. This fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs!
The first performance will be Sunday, November 11th at 3PM in the auditorium followed by 7 PM performances on Monday and Tuesday, November 12th and 13th. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/children and are available at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the high school office from 8AM-3:30PM Monday through Friday. Concessions will be available during intermission.

Yearbook Sale!

Make sure you order your 2018-2019 Blooming Grove yearbook by Friday, November 2nd. The cost is $50 and you can order online or through Ms. Coward at the high school campus. The cost will go up on Saturday, November 3rd, to $55.

2018 Homecoming Week

Blooming Grove ISD will kick off Homecoming Week on Monday, October 29th with daily events for students to participate in. Movie Character Monday, Tie Dye Tuesday, Color War Wednesday, Throw Back Thursday and Blue and White Friday.
Homecoming Queen nominees are: Johana Cruz, Claire Haden, Kristin Keating, Macie Skains, and Rylie Skains.
Kick-off for the Homecoming game will begin at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 2nd, against the Mildred Eagles. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Wear your blue and white and come out and support our Blooming Grove Lions!

Little Mermaid Rehearsals and Music

Will begin Thursday, October 18th @ 6-8PM in the auditorium for high school, junior high and elementary cast members. At least one parent should attend for instructions on costumes, etc.
The following rehearsals will be held every Monday & Thursday 6-8PM for elementary students and 6-9PM for junior high and high school students.
Monday, Oct. 22nd is VERY important because the choreographer will be teaching some of the dance sequences.
