The boys and girls games re-scheduled for Monday, January 29th, will be varsity teams only. The girls will play at 5 PM and the boys will begin at 6:30 PM in Blooming Grove.

The nomination window for Gifted and Talented Spring Assessment opens January 8 and runs through January 26 for all 1st through 12th grade students in the district not previously identified for G/T services. Parents, teachers, administrators, counselors, or even the students themselves may complete a nomination form for G/T testing. The nomination forms are available at each of the BGISD campuses. Completed nomination forms should be returned to the nominee's campus by January 26.
Blooming Grove ISD screens all Kindergarten students for the Gifted and Talented Program. No nominations are required for Kindergarten students.

Due to the weather, the Lion basketball games scheduled for Tuesday, January 16th in Maypearl have been moved to Wednesday, January 17th. Varsity only will play with the girls beginning at 5 PM followed by the boys at 6:30 PM.

Our 7th and 8th grade Lions will be competing in a tournament in Italy on Saturday, January 13th.
The A Team Boys are our 8th graders and the B Team Boys are our 7th graders on the schedule. Let's cheer them on!!!

Our varsity boys and girls basketball teams will play in the annual Kiwanis Classic at Navarro College December 28-30. Here are the brackets for each team. Go out and cheer them on!

The JV football game scheduled for this Thursday, November 2nd, has been cancelled. The 8th grade game will begin at 5 PM.

Order forms will be sent home with Junior High athletes on Monday, October 2nd for pictures. Volleyball pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 5th and football pictures will be taken on Friday, October 6th during first period athletics class.
