Our Board of Trustees met Thursday evening for our October meeting. Here is a quick look at the highlights, recognitions, and important decisions impacting Blooming Grove ISD. Celebrating Our People

Principals Month: We recognized our outstanding BGISD principals for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to our students and staff. Thank you for everything you do for our students, staff, and community!

Teacher of the Month: Congratulations to Lindsay Franks, our High School Teacher of the Month, recognized by Texas Farm Bureau! Thank you, Lindsay, for the difference you make in the lives of our students!

Approval of the District and Campus Improvement Plans.

Approval of proposed library materials.

Approval of a budget amendment connected to our increase in enrollment.

Approval of the consent agenda, including financial reports and purchasing cooperative participation.
District Updates

Enrollment: BGISD has reached 1,007 students!

Attendance: District attendance is currently 96.20%.

Bond & Facilities: Our Facility Advisory Committee has begun reviewing construction progress, future needs, and our changing tax base.
CTE/CCMR Update – Celebrating Student Success!
Demi Pratt provided the Board with an update on our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) progress. Over the past three years, our CCMR percentage has increased tremendously! This growth is a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and intentional planning of Demi, all of our CTE teachers, and our campus principals. These efforts are creating more opportunities and preparing our students for success beyond graduation.
