Concerning sub-varsity games this week:
As the season has progressed, it has become increasingly difficult to field a JV football team. That being the case, there will be no JV football game this week against Valley Mills. Because the JV game has been canceled, we will move both middle football games to The Grove this Thursday (9-17). The 7th grade game will start at 5:00. The 8th grade game will start approximately 10 minutes after completion of the 7th grade game. It will continue to be the goal of this coaching staff to play a JV game each week. As dynamics change on our varsity squad, we will attempt to field a JV team in the weeks to come. We will send out updates at the beginning of each new week. We will do our best to get our younger players on the field experience. Our varsity team is traveling to Valley Mills on Friday. Not all JV players will suit and make the trip to Valley Mills. We will post a list either later today or early tomorrow morning of JV players who will suit on Friday. Next week will be a home game. In the event we are not able to field a JV squad, all JV players will suit for home games. TPL.
