The Lady Lions have  a tradition of excellence, depth, and success.  The Ladies have been under the command of Jim Owens for 14 consecutive years.  Within those years the Lady Lions achieved three trips to the state tournament, one state championship, and were runners-up for two years.  In 2005 the Lady Lions were state finalist, but fell just short to the Troy Lady Trojans.  This is an era that will never be forgotten in the school, town, and even Navarro County.  They Lady Lions have made their mark on this area forever. 

Now the Lady Lions are under a new command.  Coach Sam Scribner is the new head coach of the Lady Lions.  These Ladies are full of young talent waiting to show everyone what they are made of.  They hope to keep the tradition of excellence, depth, and success going. They are even hoping for a trip to the post season playoff.
