BGHS Student Named to State Football Team
December 13, 2011

One of our outstanding seniors was named to the Associated Press Sports Editors All – State Football Team. Having someone recognized on the All – State Team is without a doubt a tribute to the entire team and their performances this year. It is a great honor to receive an All – State selection especially when you consider that there are 80+ schools in our division and well over 2000 athletes in our division alone. Congratulation to the entire Blooming Grove Lions Football team for having a team member recognized on the APSE All – State Football team: Ty Chambers (Honorable Mention - Linebacker).

Gary Grubbs
Blooming Grove Athletic Director

Our Mission

The faculty and staff at Blooming Grove High School believe that all students can learn and we will establish high standards of learning that we expect all students to achieve. It is our job to foster an environment in our classrooms that engages students in relevant academic work that results in a commitment to high levels of achievement. We are confident that with our support and a system of interventions in place, students can master rigorous curricula, and we expect them to do so. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to achieve this shared educational purpose, so that students will graduate with 21st century skills that prepare them for the work force or higher education.
